"Obsessive Compulsive Disorder"

We might not be aware that we have this kind of illness, it could be good or bad i think, coz they might misinterpret it like maarte or matapobre

The person affected may experience thoughts being 'pushed' through their mind that they would normally never think (completely against their true nature), or they may experience a strong pulling on their thoughts in a certain direction.

three of the most common are:

repeated washing of the hands

excessive cleaning or arranging of household items,

continual checking of door locks, light switches and the cooker.

The Notebook

The Notebook

This was the most beautiful and romantic movie I’ve seen in a long time! Real tear jerker, too. I thought the scenery was breathtaking. And the acting was good, too. This is an adult movie, not for children. There is some language, and sexual scenes; they don’t show anything, but not for young viewers! Aside from all that, it’s such a heartwarming story of love and commitment. If you love a good romance, you’ll love this.
The movie focuses on an old man reading a story to an old woman in a nursing home. The story he reads follows two young lovers named Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun, who meet one evening at a carnival. But they are separated by Allie's parents who dissaprove of Noah's unwealthy family, and move Allie away. After waiting for Noah to write her for several years, Allie meets and gets engaged to a handsome young soldier named Lon. Allie, then, with her love for Noah still alive, stops by Noah's 200-year-old home that he restored for her, "to see if he's okay". It is evident that they still have feelings for each other, and Allie has to choose between her fiancé and her first love.
Reselience

...we've got the means to make amends. I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side. (Pearl Jam, Leash)

I've been watching oprah show couple days ago, and i find her talk show interesting, people who are resilient that able to cope up with stress, trauma, and tragedy in life, well in my case,
I've converted misfortune into good luck and found benefits in bad experiences.I'm non-judgmental about others and adapt to people's different personality styles. With the sencirity and simplicity her guests shared about their experiences it really touch my soul some people would dwell on it or learned...but in my case, i must admit that somewhere i fall in between., i had face my deepest fears of failure, went through hell but i always believe that things happen for a reason. i don't give up easily even things seems hopeless, i remain optimistic..

a reselient person is:

Express feelings honestly. Experience and can express anger, love, dislike, appreciation, grief--the entire range of human emotions honestly and openly. Can also choose to suppress their feelings when they believe it would be best to do so.

Taking care of oneself. Tend to your own needs and feelings, both physically and emotionally. This includes participating in activities and hobbies you enjoy, exercising regularly, getting plenty of sleep, and eating well.

Think better of yourself. Be proud of yourself. Trust yourself to solve problems and make sound decisions. Nurture your self-confidence and self-esteem so that you feel strong, capable and self-reliant. This will give you a sense of control over events and situations in your life.

Maintain perspective. Don't compare your situation to that of somebody you think may be worse off. You'll probably feel guilty for being down about your own problems. Rather, look at your situation in the larger context of your own life, and of the world. Keep a long-term perspective and know that your situation can improve if you actively work at it.

A CHRISTIAN MINISTER SAY, " IF WE WANT TO FORGIVE AND RECOVER FROM HURTS WE MUST NOT TALK LOOSELY ABOUT THE PROBLEM OR THE PERSON WHO CAUSED IT, i want my Faith to grow more because i know that He always had a good plan for tomorrow...

life after deperssion

AHHHH Brownout

Most of the west call it blackout, but we had two" brownouts" in the p.i today already., it lasted for an hour . it happens rarely maybe on your country, but here in the p.i people seems to put up with it all the time. are they taking the pissed? the costs of the electricity is ridiculous, just paid 130£ for two months., yesterday..hope they get sorted this problem somehow., Philippines, before and now tried to be a developed country, If you go small business you will likely lose a huge amount if brownout keeps going all the time, during that month you would've make difference to your profit or not.

Better Than Homegrown?

Are Filipino guys more traditional? If so, does that mean their values
are more intact than that of foreigners?
-My impression is, because they leave home a lot earlier, family ties are not as strong with foreigners. that's both good and bad.

Is the stereotype true that Westerners have a less of a sense of spirituality?
-that's a false generalization

What about a foreigner's view of commitment in a relationship.?
-It has been always a mutual thing. I think culture doesn't matter. If one isn't ready, one isn't ready.

How are they as mates- are they jealous, possessive?
-I think it depends on how much self confidence your partner has jealousy can play a big part in any relationship, trust is normally a two way street if you can both feel trust for each other you have a lot better chance of making it work.

Is it true that normally a stronger woman is better of with a foreigner?
-Well There do seem to bit a lot of shy quite girls that are in happy mixed relationships.
I think it's more about how the couples personalities mix, however I would say that if you are a strong confident person it would be easier to overcome cultural differences..

oh well i'm speaking on my own perspective.,ill pass this to the three beautiful ladies, bulak, lotis, and darlene. And to my newly aquiantance, francine from france:-)

A Day Out with friends.

Mylene, the giraffe., joke! She is a hands on mum and looking after to her new baby boy(norweigian).I could say she is the unpredictable one., she can still wear a smile even then she got problem inside., that's one thing i like about her CZ then there is not much point for us really to be drama drama he he., we hardly had sad moment because we can't help but just laugh each other, She surprised me earlier when she came round., this time i cant make up excuses, he he .. haven't seen her for awhile so in a way, it was a good surprise to see her, along with my other friend Lorie, We used to call her bangs, oops side bangs i mean he he.

but before Lorie came, mylene had fun playing the web of words, she didn't have a hard time making up a word in fact she was very good at it..wow I'm impressed! So then, we decided to eat somewhere after but hence there is a res to, nearby we just went there to get some drinks and sing for karaoke., it wasn't bad , the food is good even it's raining a bit..it's nice to know that there are people liked my company ,,I'm not really a boring person to be with :-),. though some times i can be a loner.. it's one good thing to socialize with friends that you trusted.,There maybe a times when we give a "cold shoulder " to each other but we managed somehow to sort our differences after!
we have things in common to enjoy so even when we have not seen each other for a while it's easy to get along... She always makes us laugh whenever we wind up , teased, and she say grow up girl's , Cheers!!!

The Devil wears Prada.

"You say im a bitch, like it's a bad thing".

I Must admit I did love most of the wardrobe that they show in the film. hope that does not mean i'm going to hell! I never read the book (novel) ,The devil wears prada, Possibly you have seen the movie some would find it annoying, but on the other side it taught us who we are but not just what we wear it shows the shollow side of the fashion world dealing of pampered "snobs".

I love this one..so classy..give you a look of a shopisticated young lady True success is not achieved by those who are smart or inconsiderate, by hard-baked egotists or psychopathic bosses … We gain by being generous towards those around us … When people do not perceive any competition, they themselves stop competing and instead start to co-operate, which everyone benefits from.

Job is becoming less boring when..,

I got my most boring job five years ago, doing the same thing,(eowww almost three years) every day, sitting the whole day working in the conveyor while running, we used to make floppy disk drive, but it's useless nowadays.., i find it challenging sometimes, CZ you come to learned lots of processes, like soldering, visual inspection, i could say its challenging though, if youre keen enough you be able to use your knowledge and skill more, but because i need to live to be able to help myself augment the expenses, still need to do the work that was given to you, which require lots of efforts and just to proved to the employer that you are self sufficient . their implemented rules like no look up and no chattering, was really intolerable..of course you cant help sometimes but to chat your co workers next to you., plus the robotype uniform that we wore were so uncomfortable just being wrapped up like a peruvian "mummy" , the whole afternoon ., staring all the stuffed that you need to get done to hit the target the whole day..it's horrible when i need to go for night shift ,i'm usually assigned as a second process, or even the inputer most of the times..phewwww! i really felt the pressure for the group to be productive on that day, without "no good"/ reject.. its better off if the group make it so we can have extras/incentives...
nah, why am i talking crap in here, lol

This is the hardest one to assembled, big and not really good looking hehee, but some people prefer that one because it has loud sound, coming from the heavy, huge airpods like a donut.. it's good quality because the raw materials are coming from japan and taiwan, our product lines are
Microvibration motor, headphone, electrolytic capacitor, fdd parts assembly.. semiconductor company,(hai) hosokawa assembly inc., which owned by hoso san himself and passed the ISO'S standards.. (tuv)

Electronics, a consistent export leader, is projected to continue driving the export performance, with information technology playing the vital services and link as the trend moves towards the convergence of technology.

job jokesQ. Why is a BMW a banker’s favorite car?A. Because he can’t spell Porsche.

oh well, no worries. i decided to turn over a new leaf., no that's not what i mean, finally i got my profession changed..

if this post was a bit boring for you to read, spare a thought for me i had to work there:-)

Happy Birthday Sis!

Pursuit of Happyness (money)

Pursuit of Happyness Scene

I feel the Pursuit of Happiness is a must see film for everybody I think you would have to be a very hard nut to crack not to be moved emotionally at some parts of the film, and the acting is faultless

It is based on the true story of a man named Chris Gardner and the low part of his life in the late 70's

Will Smith plays 'Chris Gardner' a Salesman that is struggling to keep his head above water when his wife leaves him and he is left with his son and then his luck gets even worse.

After a chance meeting with a stock broker Chris decides to go after an internship with a major stock brokerage firm,
But there’s a catch there is no pay for six months during the internship and he'll be competing with 20 other ambitious men and only one permanent position,

Chris knows if he gets the job he can make a good life however for the next six months he will have to work study and try and somehow find money to pay rent while looking after his boy.

His life hits its lowest point when he can't make the rent and becomes homeless with his son.
and Chris has to somehow try and excel in his job during the day and find a roof for him and his son at night.
Will Smiths real son (Jaden Smith) play his son in the film and his performance is superb and he is looking like he could be a big star in the future.

The undertone of the film is quite capitalist some could call it the 'Pursuit of Money' but Chris Gardeners main motivation is to try to guarantee the financial security of his family and it goes to show that when life deals us a bad hand some we have a chance to change that hand though sheer determination and self belief.

And this film is so well acted it's one not to miss.

Sickly Day

It's raining hard outside earlier, went out to get some shopping'. i think i caught some kind of bug(d'oh..)got sniffy nose and a bit colds. weather is awful at the moment. It rains occasionally but freaking hot sometimes, I'm not quite sure if it's flu season, i hope not..It's just shamed CZ my friend ask me to come round in her house just untimely i told her I'll make it up the next time..Sniffing,., coughing, ..gasp.., sorry to moan then blow my nose as often as possible letting the tissues file up.When we get sick, our body are under stress. It did by giving me fever, runny nose, stuffy head. I got headache at the moment just take some ibuprofen for my fever and decongestant for my cold. My fever has been breaking and repeating, laying on the bed all day in misery

Life is still good, ain't it?

Off to sleep now...

I've been tagged for the very first time by lotis,(again, i mentioned) fair enough , i ought to make her one back:-) and apparently, I have to write at least three things(YEAH I MAKE IT ONLY EASY , BRIEF , LESS HASSLE) that people posibbly didn't know about me and then tag more than one people(only if i'm lucky lol). i just give this a try.. hope it don't upset the tagged ones to much.

I'm A Shameless Singer

I love movies, esp. the scary ones/psychological chiller
Strangely, yes..most of my collection of vcds were horror films, like the descent, madhouse, ring around the rosie, the glasshouse..theyre not only scary but clever films too..it has twisted story on its own.
Dont get me wrong i love romantic films too like fairy tales even i know its too good to be true, lol

I'm struggling to gain weight
hahaha! this made me laugh.. i know matt would disagree with this because most of the time im eating...friends would say sometimes, im skinny then fatty .. ay ewan bahala cla basta i know " Round is Shape":-)

Ok, so was that personal enough? I'd like to tag lotis, and bernie...
